AHLA Announces Health Law Week: Strength Through Adversity June 21-27, 2021

  • April, 14, 2021

AHLA is marking Health Law Week from June 21-27, 2021 to celebrate the contributions of the health law profession to the broader health care industry.

The past year has been difficult. And yet through it all, the health law profession has been providing analysis, assessing risk, ensuring compliance, and making recommendations to their organizations and clients, ultimately leading to better health outcomes for all. The profession has modeled how innovation and excellence can emerge through adversity. Therefore, the theme of this year’s Health Law Week is Strength Through Adversity.

Attendees will enjoy a week of programing around: diversity, equity, and inclusion; self-care tools; and connecting with the next generation of health law professionals. Additionally, Health Law Week will highlight programs that create new opportunities for entry into the profession, showcase organizations/firms dedicated to employing these professionals, and elevate this community’s contributions to the health care industry.

“We may be separated physically this year, but our profession has demonstrated how through adversity and challenges comes innovation and excellence,” comments David S. Cade, Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officer of AHLA. “This week provides an important opportunity for health law professionals to gather virtually, celebrate, and converse on these innovations and advancements.”
