Volunteer Opportunities 

AHLA offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to meet your professional needs. Identify those aligned with your level of expertise, experience, and time commitment. Below is a sampling of current opportunities. Types of Opportunities 

 

Volunteers serve as the driving force behind AHLA! We offer diverse opportunities for members of all specialties and experience levels to contribute. With each new volunteer, AHLA becomes more dynamic, inclusive, and better equipped to achieve our shared objectives.  

Positions include (but are not limited to): 

  • Authors: Connections, Journal of Health and Life Sciences Law, bulletins, briefings, toolkits, 101 courses, peer reviewers, and editors 
  • Speakers: Live webinars, podcast, and in-person or virtual program faculty 
  • Participants: Judging panels, moderators, and focus groups 
  • Communications Champions: Social Media, Community Ambassadors
  • Mentors: Available for all career levels 
  • Volunteer Leaders: Board of Directors, Councils, Editorial Board, Practice Groups, Program Planning Committees, and Review Board
