See You Soon!

Goodbyes are hard. For that reason, I often say “see you soon” when leaving a friend’s or loved one’s house, or “talk to you soon” when hanging up the phone. The decision that I am making to say “farewell,” not “goodbye,” in those moments alleviates some of the sadness I typically feel.
