Join us for the most comprehensive program available on legal issues related to reimbursement. Knowing the Medicare and Medicaid laws, regulations, and manuals is not enough to advise clients properly. It is important to understand how these various authorities are being implemented, both nationally and locally. This program brings together knowledgeable private sector speakers with representatives from various government agencies. We are always thrilled to have participation from OIG, CMS, OGC, and DOJ on our sessions and in the audience. We are excited to have The Honorable Alex M. Azar, II, Secretary, US Department of Health and Human Services as this year keynote speaker! You won’t want to miss this program.

There are over 50 breakout sessions on the program. Just some of the topics are:

  • A Peek Behind the Curtain: The Interactions of DOJ, OIG, CMS and the HHS Office of General Counsel
  • Provider-Based Status, Under Arrangements, Enrollment, and Related Medicare Requirements
  • The Changing Face of the Medicaid Program: A Review of Recent Trends in State Medicaid Waivers
  • Convergence of Medicare vs IRS vs GAAP Revenue Recognition and Uncompensated Care Reporting
  • Innovation in a Nutshell: Key Recent CMS Payment Initiatives, Where They Came From, and What You Should Know
  • Three deeper dive interactive sessions on DSH, GME, and 60 Day Repayment. Sign up in advanced – attendance is limited to 20 participants!
  • Six 30 minute sessions that provide the most up-to-date information

The full brochure will be available soon. The program will begin at 8:00 am on Wednesday, March 20 and end at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 22.
