Program Description

View the Brochure

Make plans to join us in DC - there is no better time or place for AHLA’s Annual Meeting this year. We are pleased to announce that the Annual Meeting will be highlighted by a Keynote Address by Ezekiel Emmanuel, MD. The Supreme Court is expected to announce its decision in King v. Burwell in late June, and the past year’s governmental activity, including increasing legislative, regulatory, and enforcement activity in Washington is deeply affecting the health care industry. We can be certain to see only more changes on the horizon for health care-related business, regardless of the outcome of the Supreme Court case, and our clients will continue to rely on us to advise them on the legal and operational challenges they face. For these reasons and more, you will not want to miss the opportunity to join your colleagues for the AHLA In-House Counsel Program and Annual Meeting from June 28-July 1.

The planning committee has designed a program rich with content and dynamic speakers, offering the most current information and analysis of myriad legal issues the health care industry is facing. There will be sessions on transactional issues, reimbursement, tax, privacy and security, antitrust, fraud and compliance, labor and employment, and more. Whether you represent physicians, payers, hospitals and health systems, long term care providers, academic medical centers, or life sciences companies, there are sessions that will address the issues your clients are facing.

The program will kick-off Sunday, June 28, at 5:00 pm with a Welcome Reception for all attendees. Sessions will end on Wednesday, July 1 at 3:45 pm.

Program Materials

We will not automatically be printing binders for everyone. All materials will be available on a website prior to the program and handed out on a flash drive at the program. For those who still do want the binder they will be available for an additional fee; please order on the registration form.
