Mediating Disputes in Accountable Care and Value-Based Health Care Settings

Tuesday, July 30, 2013
12:00 PM-1:15 PM Eastern

This roundtable discussion will focus on how the new accountable care/value-based paradigm in healthcare delivery will lead to, and already is resulting in, new types of disputes between and among Accountable Care Organization (ACO) participants and physicians (both in private and Medicare ACOs). This focus will include looking at real world ACO disputes and how and why mediation will generally be the best means for ACO participants and physicians to resolve them. This roundtable discussion is designed for health lawyers who represent clients involved in any facet of accountable care.
