Alternative Dispute Resolution Affinity Group

 

​The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Affinity Group provides a forum to network and educate members regarding legal developments and best practices in addressing conflicts within the health care system. The ADR Affinity Group assists members who participate in arbitration, mediation, and peer review hearings as an advocate and/or as a neutral as well as those who assist health care organizations in managing internal conflicts and preventing litigation.

50-State Arbitration Case Law Survey

Case law on key issues in the enforcement of consumer arbitration agreements varies considerably from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. This survey hones in on the leading cases in whatever jurisdiction a case might arise and lists the key cases by state, with a brief summary of the outcome, on the following issues:
  • Agency
  • Arbitration Forum
  • Arbitration Fees
  • Unconscionability
  • Wrongful Death

Enrollment

You must be a member of the Health Care Liability and Litigation or Post-Acute and Long Term Services Practice Group or a government, academic, or student member, or have paid for all-Practice Groups access to enroll in this Affinity Group. You will remain a member as long as you are a member of its sponsoring Practice Groups or maintain membership in one of the aforementioned membership categories.
