One AHLA, Many Members
AHLA welcomes all who are interested in health law–from health lawyers, to compliance and privacy officers, finance officers, health care consultants, regulatory professionals, physicians, nurses, and CEOs. We welcome those working in the public sector and government as well as in-house plan lawyers. AHLA also welcomes students, academicians, and paralegals.
AHLA is not just for lawyers. Compliance professionals and non-lawyers can benefit from access to a host of valuable educational opportunities and materials when they join AHLA, attend our educational events, or purchase our publications. The increasingly complex health care environment means compliance professionals must have a firm grasp of legal issues. Likewise, lawyers need to understand the practical realities in which compliance professionals operate. Membership in AHLA helps foster this critical dialogue and understanding. Learn More
In-House and Plan Counsel, Public Sector, and Government Attorneys
Those working as in-house counsel or as Plan Counsel are encouraged to join the Association. If you work in a government setting, you may join as an individual or as part of Government Bundle, which allows the office or agency to pay on a sliding scale based on the number of attorneys and non-attorneys focused on health law. As members in a Government Bundle, all are able to take advantage of the benefits of membership in AHLA.
AHLA welcomes full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, career counselors, and students as academic members. Click the links below to explore benefits and resources specific to the academic community.
