As the business of health care delivery expands, so does the need for expert legal counsel. AHLA provides the information and resources needed to be a more effective health plan attorney, on issues such as operations and management, managed care, litigation, regulations, privacy, and security.
Each year, AHLA holds the In-House Counsel program in June. In addition, it has held an Institute for Health Plan Counsel with sessions geared specifically for in-house plan counsel, with particular emphasis on plan operational, contractual, and regulatory issues. Visit the Events and Education page for more information.
Membership in AHLA is your professional credential that shows clients and colleagues that you are serious about learning and understanding your profession and your craft. Our educational opportunities and access to a collegial peer-to-peer network are unparalleled for the in-house managed care or health plan attorney.
