The purpose of the Women’s
Network is to provide AHLA women members with networking and professional
development opportunities, to enhance their skills, increase access to
colleagues and AHLA leaders, and strengthen their ties to and involvement in the

The Women’s Leadership Council was
established in June 2014 and formalized the operation of the Women’s Network.
The Council collaborates with various AHLA Committees and Councils and sponsors
Brown Bag webinars, hosts networking events, and showcases women leaders in an
ongoing interview series in the Association’s magazine.
