Law/Graduate Students
"When I was a student member, I found that AHLA's publications and the
networking opportunities that were afforded to me, were invaluable in
influencing me to become a health lawyer."
Students
Student membership is available to all law students. Annual dues are
$25. If you are a student and would like to join, register
online or download
a PDF of the Association's student membership brochure.
Here are some of benefits available to student members:
- Health
Lawyers Weekly, an electronic news service delivered by e-mail
each week providing students with a concise summary of the major changes
in health law each week. If we don't have your email address, update
your profile now.
- Students are encouraged to enroll in the Association's Practice Groups, which
are composed of members who want to increase their level of expertise in

leadership experience, and network with health lawyers and other
students from across the country.
- Access to the Health Law Digest
archives containing summaries of recent federal and state court
decisions and administrative rulings, and both alphabetical and
jurisdictional indices. Students can search by key word, read the full
text of the summaries, print and save each issue.
- An opportunity to stay current on important health law issues
through participation in one or more of Health Lawyers' Listserves. You will
also receive access to the Health
Law Student List: This list is for law students interested in
practicing in health law and can be used to post questions and comments
on issues affecting law students. Moderator(s): David Matyas and Jennifer Anne Marsh
