Adjunct faculty at American law schools are a diverse lot. Some adjuncts are experienced former law teachers, while others are newcomers to the faculty. Some adjunct faculty are teaching a course that has never before been taught at their institution; others are picking up a course with a track record and probably with certain expectations on the part of the full-time faculty, the Curriculum Committee, the school's administrators, and the students.
These web pages are offered to provide some measure of assistance to all adjunct faculty who teach health care law at American law schools, as well as full-time health law faculty. Some of what we have included in these pages will be quite basic to some adjunct faculty, and for others it will be completely new. Our hope is that everyone will find something of value in these pages.
