Matthew Burnstein is a partner at Waller Lansden and serves on the firm's Board of Directors. He practices in the areas of securities law, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and technology law. Mr. Burnstein represents issuers and investors in venture capital and private finance matters. He has worked extensively in the area of acquisition, divestiture, syndication and finance of outpatient healthcare services, including ambulatory surgery centers, diagnostic imaging centers and stereotactic radiosurgery facilities. Mr. Burnstein managed the $54 million acquisition of interests in six ambulatory surgery centers in Southern California by a publicly-traded ambulatory surgery center company. Recently, he managed the firm's work on a $250 million acquisition for a leading national provider of behavioral healthcare services, as well as numerous smaller acquisitions for the company. Mr. Burnstein received his law degree and B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
