The Intersecting Worlds of Drug, Device, Biologics, and Health Law Program, being held May 21-22 in DC, will explore the hottest areas of life sciences law today. Every day in the headlines, one sees reports of settlements for off-label promotion, delays in the Sunshine Act regulations, and attacks on the unknown implications of efforts to compare effective treatments. The program will feature general sessions on each of these issues, with significant governmental experts and decision makers on each one. The program will also feature an attorney who argued a portion of the ACA case at the Supreme Court in dialogue with a constitutional law professor. In addition to these timely general sessions, the program planning committee has included significant breakout sessions on the true intersection of life sciences and health law: fraud compliance, reimbursement, and research.
