Task Forces

For those health law topics that cross over several Practice Groups, task forces are established to produce collaborative, substantive resources for the benefit of the sponsoring Practice Groups' members.

  • Healthcare Reform Educational Task Force
The Task Force serves as a single key point-of-contact for the Association membership for institutional resources regarding comprehensive healthcare reform initiatives at the state and federal levels. The Task Force works to educate AHLA members on proposed healthcare reform initiatives as well as report on ongoing experiences with recently enacted reform initiatives.

  • Medicare Part D Task Force
The Part D Task Force works to educate AHLA membership about Part D's structure and operation, providing information of interest to providers and suppliers as well as to manufacturers, Prescription Drug Plans, and Medicare Advantage plans.
