The Conflicts of Interest and Transparency Affinity Group's goal is to serve as a lively platform for active discussion and interaction amongst Practice Group members who represent entities involved in research and clinical activities (such as teaching hospitals, academic medical centers, hospitals, life science organizations, and research institutes). The Affinity Group will serve as a single resource for: compiling and synthesizing developments in law, regulation and guidance documents related to conflict of interests and other transparency-related initiatives; identifying and discussing challenges and best practices in transparency implementation and compliance for the industry; and developing and publishing white papers, alerts, member briefings, and other resources addressing issues of implementing transparency.
