Institute for Health Plan Counsel
AHLA recently held a new one-day program and reception designed for health plan in-house counsel. Health plan counsel are facing a changing landscape with the implementation of healthcare reform, essential health benefits, qualified health plans, insurance exchanges among many other items. Thus, in-house plan counsel must be prepared to address the significant legal and operational developments resulting from the rapidly changing marketplace. The Institute for Health Plan Counsel is designed to address these issues. The sessions at this program are geared specifically for in-house plan counsel with particular emphasis on plan operational, contractual and regulatory issues. Visit the program page for details.
