The American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) is the nation's largest, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) educational organization devoted to legal issues in the healthcare field.
With a membership more than 11,500 members strong, our attorney and in-house counsel members represent the best in their profession. AHLA also welcomes and benefits from the membership of compliance and privacy officers, finance officers, healthcare consultants, regulatory professionals, physicians, nurses, CEOs, public health officials, and others interested in healthcare legal and regulatory issues. We also offer discounted membership options for students, academics, government attorneys, solo practitioners, and retired members.
Members can also join one of 16 Practice Groups and an array of Affinity Groups and Task Forces that are composed of volunteer members who share a similar work setting or interest in specific areas of health law and who wish to increase their level of expertise in and knowledge of healthcare legal and regulatory issues, grow professionally, gain valuable leadership experience, and network with other professionals from across the country.
