Achieving Compliance With MS.01.01.01, Part II: An “In the Trenches” Discussion of Alternative Approaches

Wednesday, October 13, 2010
Co-sponsored by the Hospitals and Health Systems; Medical Staff, Credentialing, and Peer Review; and Physician Organizations Practice Groups

Description

To further help educate attorneys and their clients, the AHLA Standard MS.01.01.01 work group of approximately forty attorneys has developed additional questions as well as example bylaw provisions which we will have submitted to The Joint Commission for review and response.

Part II of this two-part webinar series is intended to review these responses, which will be posted and made available to AHLA members, and to get an “in the trenches” perspective on the different and alternative ways to achieve compliance based on the insights of seasoned hospital and medical staff attorneys. This is designed to be a practical “how to” program which should prove to be a valuable and instructive means to assist attorneys and other health care professionals as they work towards amending their bylaws, rules and regulations in order to come into conformance with Standard MS.01.01.01.
