The following Practice Groups will hold a luncheon presentation during the Physicians and Hospitals Law Institutes:

All materials will be available on a website prior to the program and handed out on CD at the program. For those who still do want the binder they will be available for an additional fee; please order on the registration form.
Put all the program details in the palm of your hand with AHLA's program app. Attendees will be able to access the informaiton about the program(s) on their mobile device. The app, sponsored by PYA, will include the program schedule, faculty list, course materials and more. The app will be availabe to iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows, and Blackberry users. Information on how to download the app will be sent out to the attendees when it becomes available.
The Physicians program will be worth approximately 12.5 credits (including 1.0 ethics credit) for 60-minute states and approximately 15.0 credits (including 1.2 ethics credit) for 50-minute states. If you are attending both the Physicians and Hospitals Law Institutes, the program will be worth approximately 17.5 credits (including 1.0 ethics credit) for 60-minute states and approximately 21.0 credits (including 1.2 ethics credit) for 50-minute states. Participants will be given CLE Request forms at the program. Forms must be completed and returned to AHLA staff to receive credit. The sessions, unless otherwise designated, are intermediate to advanced in level. There are no prerequisites required to register for this program.
The Physicians program will be worth approximately 15.0 CPE credits. The Physicians and Hospitals programs will be worth approximately 21.0 CPE credits. AHLA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. We have been approved for 15.0 Compliance Certification Board (CCB) credits for this program.
This program is designed to be an update on developments in the area of physicians and physician organizations. There are no prerequisites or advanced preparations required to register for this group live program. Those seeking accounting credits should be familiar with the basic concepts of law and terminology associated with this area in order to obtain the full educational benefit of this program.
