Program Description
The program is designed to address the unique issues faced by in-house and outside counsel for pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, device manufacturers, academic medical centers, and healthcare providers who have relationships with the life sciences industry.
Daniel Meron, General Counsel at the Department of Health and Human Services, will give this year's keynote address. Attend Life Sciences Practice Group's Inaugural Lunch
The Association's newest Life Sciences Practice Group will be sponsoring its inaugural luncheon on Thursday, April 26. There is an additional fee of $38 for the luncheon (members and non-members pay the same fee). AHLA members who register for the luncheon will receive an added bonus of a complimentary year of enrollment in the new Life Sciences Practice Group. CLE Information
This program will be worth approximately 15.5 credits (including 1.25 ethics credit) for 60-minute states and approximately 18.6 credits (including 1.5 ethics credit) for 50-minute states. Participants will be given CLE Request forms at the program. Forms must be completed and returned to AHLA staff to receive credit. The sessions, unless otherwise designated, are intermediate to advanced in level. There are no prerequisites required to register for this program.
This seminar will be worth approximately 18.0 CPE credits. AHLA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
