Program Description
Plan now to attend the annual Long Term Care and the Law program designed to address the legal challenges faced by nursing homes, assisted living facilities, home health agencies and other long term care providers. This year's program will address issues in the areas of fraud and abuse, survey and certification, reimbursement, risk management and business and finance.
The Long Term Care Practice Group will sponsor a networking lunch and presentation on Thursday, February 19. For more information about the Practice Group lunch, click on the Practice Group name below:
For the lunch, there is an additional fee of $37 and space is limited.
Continuing Education Information
CLE: AHLA is an approved sponsor of continuing legal education credits in most states. This program will be worth approximately 17.25 credits (including 1.0 ethics credit) for 60-minute states and approximately 20.7 credits (including 1.0 ethics credit) for 50-minute states. Participants will be given CLE Request forms at the program. Forms must be completed and returned to Health Lawyers staff to receive credit.
CPE: This seminar will be worth approximately 20.0 CPE credits. AHLA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. NHA: This program has been approved for a maximum of 17.0 Nursing Home Administrators (NAB) credits. The NAB Program Approval Number is 1822004-17094-17.
