Joshua H. Soven is the Chief of the Litigation I Section of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he supervises the Division’s antitrust investigations and enforcement actions that involve the health care sector. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Soven was an attorney advisor to Federal Trade Commission Chairman, Deborah Platt Majoras. From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Soven was a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division’s Networks and Technology Section. Before entering government service, Mr. Soven practiced antitrust law at Dickstein Shapiro LLP, in Washington, DC. Mr. Soven began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert G. Doumar, U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia. Mr. Soven holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
