Douglas Ross concentrates his practice in complex litigation, with an emphasis on antitrust, class actions, consumer protection claims, and regulatory matters. He represents clients in litigation and under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission, Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and various antitrust enforcement agencies.
Ross currently serves on the governing Council of the ABA’s Antitrust Section. He is a member of the Bureau of National Affairs’ Health Law Advisory Board. He is listed among The Best Lawyers in America and by Chambers USA.
An adjunct professor at the University of Washington Law School teaching a course on healthcare and antitrust, Ross speaks frequently on antitrust and healthcare matters. He is the chair of the AHLA’s Antitrust Practice Group, a past chair of the Healthcare Committee of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section, and a past chair of the Antitrust and Consumer Protection Section of the Washington State Bar Association.
Following three years with the Antitrust Division of DOJ, Ross entered private practice in Seattle in 1982. He is a 1978 graduate of the Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
Ross chairs the firm’s litigation department.
