Cheryl L. Rice is Vice President and Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer for Catholic Healthcare Partners (CHP) in Cincinnati, Ohio. CHP is Ohio’s largest integrated health care system and oversees over 30 hospitals, 16 long-term care facilities, and 50 additional health entities in five states. Cheryl is responsible for oversight of the system-wide Corporate Responsibility program, development of compliance education and strategic planning for compliance initiatives. Cheryl also serves as the corporate resource for coding and billing expertise as well as system expert on post-acute service compliance and physician services and is a frequent contributor of articles to compliance trade newletters.
Cheryl has over twenty-four years of service within the Catholic Healthcare Partners system. Besides the ten years in Corporate Responsibility, Cheryl has served as a Financial Planning Analyst and Chargemaster Coordinator for a multi-hospital region. She graduated for Ohio State University with BS in Biological Science, and received her Master of Science in Health Planning/Administration from the University of Cincinnati.
