Lisa Ohrin is a Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Health Management Associates (HMA), a premier operator of acute care hospitals primarily in the southeast and southwest areas of non-urban America. Prior to joining HMA, Lisa was a partner with Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where her practice focused primarily on compliance, Stark Law and Medicare reimbursement. She is also the former director of the Division of Technical Payment Policy at CMS and a primary author of the Phase III and subsequent Stark regulations.
