I look forward to serving on the AHLA Young Professionals Council. I embarked on the field of healthcare law and policy during my position in the Medical Ethics department of a hospital system, where I worked with a collaborative team of clinicians, researchers and representatives from the IRB as they negotiated the informed consent process. I went on to complete a master's degree with a focus on international comparative policy regarding stem cell research prior to attending law school. Following law school, I have benefited from practicing law in Nashville, where the healthcare industry is prominent. The diversity and breadth of the clients we serve at Bass, Berry & Sims has allowed me to explore the unique and varied landscape of healthcare regulatory issues in depth.
