Andrea Ebreck Nelson is the General Counsel of LDI Integrated Pharmacy Services, a St. Louis-based pharmacy services corporation that provides pharmacy benefits management and mail and specialty pharmacy services to self-insured employers and health plans. In this capacity, Ms. Nelson oversees all legal affairs for the LDI family of companies, including commercial contracting, corporate governance, network/provider relations, and regulatory compliance matters.
Ms. Nelson joined LDI as its first General Counsel in January of 2011. Prior to going in-house, she practiced healthcare at the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Columbus, Ohio. Ms. Nelson received her B.A. with highest honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2002 and received her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005, where she was an editor of the Washington University Law Review.
Ms. Nelson is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Ohio and is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Society for Pharmacy Law, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. She has authored several articles on healthcare reform and is a frequent presenter on healthcare legal issues and topics of interest to the self-insurance community.
