Ms. Mikula concentrates her practice on corporate healthcare transactions and regulatory matters. Her experience includes representing various types of healthcare providers including hospitals and health systems, dialysis facilities, ambulatory surgery centers, multi- and single-specialty medical practices, in sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, general corporate matters, contracting, securities, and regulatory matters. Ms. Mikula is experienced in negotiating and drafting transaction documents and counseling clients with regard to the legal aspects of day-to-day operations, including general corporate matters, anti-kickback and self-referral issues, corporate practice of medicine and fee-splitting prohibitions, health information privacy and security, certificate of need and facility licensure requirements. Ms. Mikula joined the Hospitals and Health Systems Practice Group Leadership Development Program in 2009.
