Amy S. Leopard is a partner and heads the Healthcare, Technology and Bioscience practice at the law firm of Walter & Haverfield LLP in Cleveland, Ohio.  She counsels healthcare providers and technology companies on licensing, payment, regulatory and technology issues and negotiates technology contracts, licenses, joint ventures, and other contract negotiations in the health care and technology sectors.  Amy also teaches advanced courses in healthcare transactions and healthcare organizations and finance as an Adjunct Professor at the Case Western Reserve University Law School.

Amy serves as outside counsel to a health information organization and is actively involved in health information technology issues in Ohio and nationally.  She chairs the HIMSS Legal Aspects of the Enterprise Task Force and serves on the CCHIT HIE Certification Work Group.  Amy also co-leads the American Health Lawyers Association HIT e-Health/Telemedicine Affinity Group and is a member of the Ohio Health Information Security and Privacy Collaboration (HISPC) Legal Working Group.  Amy has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Health Care Law each year since 2006.
