I bring, to the Young Professionals Council, diverse perspectives and values I have developed through experiences that are unique to me not only as an attorney of color but also as an immigrant to the United States. Having lived in Korea and Japan as well as in Canada and the U.S., I have developed an eye balanced between the East and West, ideal to recognize and analyze diverse issues from various perspectives and traditions. I value diversity and serve on the Washington State Bar Association's Committee for Diversity. Prior to practicing law, I was a translator for international businesses including a global market research firm and a Fortune 500 company. I am a native speaker of Korean and am proficient in Spanish and Japanese
