Louise M. Joy, Esquire

Louise M. Joy, a partner of Joy & Young, LLP where she practices in the regulatory, licensing, and administrative areas of health law, and is board certified in Administrative Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Before law school, Ms. Joy received her Masters in Health Administration (MHA) from The George Washington University and Ms. Joy worked in hospital administration. After law school, Ms. Joy served as a briefing attorney for Justice Raul Gonzalez, Texas Supreme Court, and then as a senior associate in the Austin office of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP.

Ms. Joy speaks regularly on health law topics and has taught Health Law at the University of Texas School of Law as an adjunct law professor. She is currently a Director of American Health Lawyers Association and serves on the Health Law Examination Committee for the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
