Linas J. Grikis is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the Firm’s Chicago office. Linas maintains a general health law practice, focusing on the representation of hospitals, health systems, and other health care clients. Linas routinely provides regulatory and transactional representation of hospitals and other health care entities in connection with mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other transactions matters. He has negotiated complex, multi-party contracts on behalf of clients, including various types of pharmaceutical service agreements. Additionally, Linas advises hospital and health system clients on regulatory compliance with licensure, accreditation, other state and federal regulatory matters, corporate governance, and compliance issues. While attending the University of Tulsa College of Law, Linas was a Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulsa Law Journal. Linas was also an Articles Editor for the Annals of Health Law Journal at Loyola University – Chicago School of Law. Linas is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University – Chicago, where he teaches the health law section of the Law School’s legal writing program.
