Emily Lee
I am a healthcare associate in the New York office of Manatt, Phelos, & Phillips. Prior to becoming a healthcare lawyer, I practiced litigation at Simpons, Thacher & Bartlett. An early interest in public health and government regulation led me to transition to health care Law. I cannot think of an area of law that has more tangible, day-to-day impact and more challenging and satisfying t practice as a result. During my time on the Council, I hope to help integrate new technologies and social networking platforms to foster contribution and dialogue by younger members in AHLA's education, diversity and public service initiatives. I am also excited about the broad opportunities created by health reform, and hope to kickstart efforts to encourage more involvement by those just entering the profession.
