Jane works extensively with hospitals, practice groups, trade associations and health care technology vendors on health information technology matters, including:
- Acquisition of electronic health record (EHR) systems for hospitals and practice groups, including as EHR donation
- Licensing of telemedicine and emergency management systems
- Software and system procurement for establishing health information exchanges (HIEs) and regional health information organizations (RHIOs) under traditional licensing and hosted models

She has extensive experience in drafting, negotiating and advising on software and system acquisitions, development and implementation services, support and maintenance agreements and outsourcing services. Her work on procurement projects includes:

- Master agreements for ongoing procurement of hardware, software and professional services
- Software as a service (SaaS), ASP agreements and web-based services
- Outsourcing, consulting, customization, implementation, training and other professional services

Jane represents organizations developing and providing software, ecommerce and other technology products and services in establishing standard business offerings and negotiating more complex or specialized deals. Jane has significant experience in providing strategic advice and crafting related agreements tailored to each client’s business, whether start-ups or multinational corporations. Her experience includes drafting, negotiating and advising on:
- Software licensing and support service offerings, including traditional licensing, software as a service (SaaS), ASP agreements and web-based services
- Private label e-commerce and mobile commerce marketplace services, platform service offerings, and custom e-commerce solutions
- Social networking, digital media, user-generated content, website privacy policies and terms of use
- Design and development projects, including joint development, proprietary and open source projects
- Licensing, bundling and distribution agreements, including dealer, subdistribution and end-user terms and conditions
