David R. Deromedi is a member in the Detroit office of Dickinson Wright PLLC and belongs to its Employment and Labor Law Group. His practice focuses on all phases of counseling and litigation involving employment discrimination and wrongful termination, wage and hour claims under both state and federal law and occupational safety and health matters. He has represented employers on wage and hour matters, including numerous FLSA collective action cases, in both state and federal court proceedings in Michigan. He has also represented employers on wage and hour matters in administrative proceedings before the State and federal Departments of Labor. He provides counsel to numerous employers on compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mr. Deromedi has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy Law School and lectures frequently on employment law topics, including wage and hour matters, FMLA issues, and disability discrimination. He is a graduate of Albion College and the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (Labor and Employment Law Section) and the Detroit Bar Association.
