Sean Creighton is the director of the Division of Risk Adjustment and Payment Policy (DRAPP) in the Medicare Plan Payment Group at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Sean’s division has responsibility for all Part C and D bidding and payment policy in addition to risk adjustment research and development. He has worked on risk adjustment and managed care payment systems for over eight years. He attended graduate school at Indiana University, Bloomington and the London School of Economics. Prior to working for CMS, Sean as a worked research scientist at the American Institutes for Research in Washington, DC.
