For the past 25 years, Bill Adkisson has been a prominent consultant and successful entrepreneur in the physician recruitment industry. He is board certified by the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Association of Healthcare Consultants, and the American College of Medical Practice Executives. In addition, he is a Fellow of both ACHE and AAHC.

Adkisson earned an MBA from the University of Illinois where he also taught entrepreneurship in the MBA and Executive MBA programs. He has started several successful businesses serving the health-care industry, and has been instrumental in the founding of two trade associations and a health insurance purchasing coalition.

As a consultant in areas such as group practice formation, hospital-physician relations, medical staff planning and physician recruitment, Adkisson has worked with dozens of hospitals and medical group practices throughout the U.S.

He has frequently presented to the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association, American Medical Group Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association, American Health Lawyer’s Association, and to hospital boards, residency programs and community groups. In addition, Adkisson has served as president of the National Association of Physician Recruiters and is president-elect of the American Association of Healthcare Consultants.
