In-House Counsel Program

June 26, 2011
Boston, MA
MediTract, Inc. has provided sponsorship in support of this Program and In-House Counsel Practice Group Luncheon.

Program Description

This one-day program is designed to address the unique issues faced by in-house counsel. Breakout sessions will focus on practical, hands-on ways to function in these challenging day-to-day work roles and responsibilities of in-house counsel lawyers. View the schedule for a list of all the topics.

Practice Group Luncheon

You will be entertained by a creative video highlighting the activities of the In-House Counsel Practice Group over the past year. You will also be entertained by real-life, too-weirdto-be-true stories told by fellow health law attorneys competing for the Twelfth Annual Golden Ferret Award.

The In-House Counsel Practice Group luncheon is included in the registration fee. All registrants are welcome to attend this lively luncheon. For those not attending the In-House Counsel Program, but would like to attend the luncheon, there is an additional fee of $35 for members of the In-House Counsel Practice Group and $50 for non-members.

Program Materials
We will not automatically be printing binders for everyone. All materials will be available on a website prior to the program and handed out on CD at the program. For those who still do want the binder they will be available for an additional fee; please order on the registration form.

CLE Information

Attendees will be given continuing education forms at the program. Forms must be completed and returned to AHLA staff to receive credit. Certificates of completions will be sent out 6-8 weeks following the program. AHLA is an approved sponsor of continuing legal education credits in most states.

This program will be worth approximately 6.25 credits (including 1.0 ethics credit) for 60-minute states and approximately 7.5 credits (including 1.2 ethics credit) for 50-minute states.

The sessions, unless otherwise designated, are intermediate to advanced in level. This program is designed to be an update on developments in the area of health law. There are no prerequisites or advanced preparations required to register for this group live program. Those seeking accounting credits should be familiar with the basic concepts of law and terminology associated with this area in order to obtain the full educational benefit of this program.
