2010 Annual Meeting & In-House Counsel Program

As the culmination of AHLA's educational year, the Annual Meeting provides a forum for networking and interaction with colleagues, friends, and family as well as an outstanding educational event. Throughout the program, members attend breakout sessions on various topics delivered by leading private practitioners, in-house counsel and government representatives, spend time networking with colleagues at the breakfasts, Practice Group luncheons and receptions and enjoy all that Seattle, WA has to offer.  Highlight of the Week

 Attendees at AHLA’s In-House Counsel Program and the Annual Meeting will be able to access information about the programs on their iPhones or WiFi-connected iPod Touches and iPads. The apps, sponsored by Fountainhead LLC, will include the schedule, faculty list, access to course materials, maps and more.

For all the information you need on a broad range of health law topics, including the implications of healthcare reform, join your colleagues in Seattle this summer for the Annual Meeting. Keynote speakers include Bill Gates, Sr. and Senator Wyden, followed by a discussion on Healthcare Reform Legislation Essentials and the Year in Review.

This one-day program is designed to address the unique issues faced by in-house counsel. Breakout sessions will focus on practical, hands-on ways to function in these challenging day-to-day work roles and responsibilities of in-house counsel lawyers.

Each of the Association's Practice Groups will hold a luncheon at the Annual Meeting. The luncheons are an additional fee, space is limited, and pre-registration is required.

Throughout the Annual Meeting, the numerous social events will provide attendees many opportunities to meet and network with other attorneys and health professionals from around the country as well as to enjoy some of what makes Seattle so great.

The Sheraton Seattle will be the site for all of the education sessions during the Annual Meeting. The Grand Hyatt Seattle is located across the street from the Sheraton and will be the site for all of the Practice Group luncheons during the conference.
