2010 Annual Meeting & In-House Counsel Program

As the culmination of AHLA's educational year, the Annual Meeting provides a forum for networking and interaction with colleagues, friends, and family as well as an outstanding educational event. Throughout the program, members attend breakout sessions on various topics delivered by leading private practitioners, in-house counsel and government representatives, spend time networking with colleagues at the breakfasts, Practice Group luncheons and receptions and enjoy all that Seattle, WA has to offer.

June 28-30
This year's featured speaker will be William H. Gates, Sr, Co-Chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The plenary session also includes an Annual Meeting highlight: Year in Review. There are more than 35 sessions on a broad range of health law topics in the areas. You won't want to miss it! 

June 27
This one-day program is designed to address the unique issues faced by in-house counsel. Breakout sessions will focus on practical, hands-on ways to function in these challenging day-to-day work roles and responsibilities of in-house counsel lawyers.

Each of the Association's Practice Groups will hold a luncheon at the Annual Meeting. The luncheons are an additional fee, space is limited, and pre-registration is required.

Throughout the Annual Meeting, the numerous social events will provide attendees many opportunities to meet and network with other attorneys and health professionals from around the country as well as to enjoy some of what makes Seattle so great.

Sheraton Seattle and Grand Hyatt Seattle 
Seattle, WA
The Sheraton Seattle will be the site for all of the education sessions during the Annual Meeting. The Grand Hyatt Seattle is located across the street from the Sheraton and will be the site for all of the Practice Group luncheons during the conference.
