AHLA's 2007–08 educational year culminated with the Annual Meeting in San Francisco on June 30–July 2. Nearly 1300 of our members gathered in San Francisco to learn the latest information in health law and enjoy the camaraderie of their colleagues.
Peter R. Orszag, Director of the Congressional Budget Office, was this year's Keynote Speaker. Dr. Orszag is perhaps the most qualified person in the country to show how persistent healthcare cost growth will challenge both our government and your clients in the years to come.

The General Session included the always-popular Year in Review. Beth Schermer and Jack Schroder's comprehensive review of the major regulatory, legislative and case law developments that have occurred since the 2007 Annual Meeting was considered a highlight by many of the attendees.
