Government Printing Office (GPO) Sites
These GPO Web sites include, among other things, Congressional Bills
1993-present, the Congressional Record 1994-present, the Federal
Register 1994-present, and Public Laws 1995-present. Also available
are the Congressional Record Index and Congressional Record History of
Bills from 1983 to the present. Each site has a slightly different look
but all have the same documents:
- U.S. Government
Printing Office (Superintendent of Documents official site)
- Federal Register Daily Table of Contents, in PDF
(requires Adobe Acrobat reader) format. Download the Adobe Acrobat reader if you need it.
- Subscribe to the Federal Register Daily Table
of Contents by sending the message "subscribe EPAFR-CONTENTS
first-name last-name". For example, send the message " subscribe
EPAFR-CONTENTS Bill Clinton". Make sure you leave the subject line of
your message blank. This listserv list is maintained by the
Environmental Protection Agency but includes the Federal Register
Table of Contents in its entirety.
- The United
States Government Manual, the official handbook of the Federal
Government, with comprehensive information on the agencies of the
legislative, judicial, and executive branches, quasi-official agencies;
international organizations in which the United States participates; and
boards, commissions, and committees.
