The 2006 Annual Meeting program promises to be an outstanding
educational experience and will also include wonderful social events and
networking opportunities. Highlighting this year's Annual Meeting will
be a Keynote Address by Secretary of Health and Human Services
Michael Leavitt and featured speaker Timothy P. Shriver,
PhD, Chairman of the Special Olympics, Inc. The General Session also
includes the always popular Year in Review presented by Beth Schermer
and Jack Schroder. Breakout session on 40 different topics will cover a
broad range of issues and will give attendees the resources they need to
advise their healthcare clients. The faculty of leading private
practitioners and
government representatives will provide analysis and updates on topics

Program Registration Fees
When paid by June 2, 2006:
$950 AHLA Members
$875 each additional AHLA Member OR AHLA Members who have
attended another Fall 2005-Spring 2006 program
$1,125 Non-Members
The program starts on June 26 at 8:30 am and ends on June 28 at 3:40
pm. There is a Welcome Reception on Sunday, June 25 from 5:00-6:30 pm.
Discounts
When an AHLA member registers for a program, each additional AHLA member
registering form his/her organization at the same time is eligible for a
discounted registration fee. Government employees, solo practitioners,
academicians and students: please call for special discounted fees.
Cancellations/Substitutions
Cancellations must be received in writing by fax or mail no later
than June 16, 2006. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations
received after this date. Registration fees, less a $50 administrative
fee for the In-House Counsel Program or $125 for the Annual Meeting,
will be refunded following the program. If you register for both
programs and are only able to attend one, you will not be charged a
cancellation fee.
However, you will be charged the full registration fee for the program
you attend and refunded the difference. Please note that registration
fees are based on the AHLA Membership status of the individual who
actually attends the program. For more information regarding
